MediaTek joins Arm to fully design and shape the future of AI computing

MediaTek announced today on COMPUTEX 2024 that it has joined the Arm Total Design ecosystem. Arm's comprehensive design is based on Arm's Neoverse computing subsystem (CSS) to meet the performance and efficiency needs of AI applications in the data center, infrastructure systems, telecommunications and other fields, and to accelerate and simplify product development.

Communication World Network News(CWW)-June 4, 2024-MediaTek announced today in COMPUTEX 2024 that it has joined the Arm Total Design eco-project. Arm's comprehensive design is based on Arm's Neoverse computing subsystem (CSS) to meet the performance and efficiency needs of AI applications in the data center, infrastructure systems, telecommunications and other fields, and to accelerate and simplify product development.
Vince Hu, deputy general manager of MediaTek, said: "MediaTek and Arm will work together to enable customers to design products that can meet the challenging workloads of AI applications and provide higher performance per watt (Performance Per Watt). In the data center business that MediaTek continue to expand, we will work closely with Arm to accelerate AI innovation from the end side to the cloud through our technical capabilities in hybrid computing, AI, SerDes, Chiplets and advanced packaging."
With strong SoC integration design capabilities, MediaTek can provide differentiated solutions, accelerate the time to market through the proven Arm Neoverse CSS, and provide superior solutions for the complex AI computing needs of specific applications.
