The MT8788 device has integrated Bluetooth, FM, WLAN and GPS modules. It is a highly integrated baseband platform, including modem and application processing subsystem, enabling LTE/LTE-A and C2K smart device applications. The chip integrates an ARM Cortex-A73 operating at 2.0GHz, an ARM Cortex-A53 up to 2.0GHz, and a powerful multi-standard video codec. In addition, a wide range of interface and connection peripherals include interface to camera, touch screen monitor and UFS/MMC/SD card.

The application processor is a multi-core ARM Cortex-A73,ARM Cortex-A53 MPCoreTM, equipped with a neon engine, which provides the processing power needed to support the latest OpenOS and its requirements. Applications such as web browsing, email, GPS navigation and games. All of these are displayed on a high-resolution touch screen and graphics are enhanced with 2D and 3D graphics acceleration.
